Meet the founder/CEO:
Tom Tomlinson

Inspired by my heritage and my desire to represent the diverse group to which I belong, I set out to create a nail polish brand that is affordable and healthy to ensure lasting results.

I take a great deal of pride in providing beautiful, unique and high quality products. Proud to be a 100% vegan and cruelty-free.

Fiya Nail Polish is owned and operated in Mississauga, Canada. The formulas are ethically made without 10 harmful chemicals that are found in most commercial polishes: Toluene • Formaldehyde • Formaldehyde Resin • Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP) • Camphor • Xylene • Triphenyl Phosphate (TPHP) • Parabens • Fragrances • Animal Products • Phthalates.

As a female founder and a woman of color, I strongly believe in supporting women to be the best version of themselves.

My Story

It all started with a habit I had of biting my nails. However, during the lockdown, I felt the need for change and started allowing them to grow. Soon enough, I started doing my own nails and playing around with colors to match my mood.

I wanted to use healthy, non-toxic nail care products that weren't riddled with harmful ingredients. I was eager to share my colors and passion with others because I want women to feel confident, empowered and free to express themselves through nail care.
Mission: Wear it Loud, Wear it proud!

Vegan, cruelty-free + environment healthy + non-toxic.

The company's name was inspired by my heritage and my desire to represent the diverse group to which I belong. "Fiya" is the Jamaican patois word for "fire" which means burning and giving out bright light, heat, and smoke. This is how I want anyone wearing our polish to feel.
